The Canadian Somali Congress invites you to a Memorial Event for Canadian journalist, Ali Sharmake, who was slain in Mogadishu on Saturday, August 11th, 2007.

The Canadian Somali community will be joined by family and friends of Ali Sharmake as well as by journalists, community leaders, and other prominent Canadians including Mark Persaud, President and Chief Executive of the Canadian International Peace Project, a good friend of the Canadian_somali community.

The Event will take place at 6: 30 p.m. on Saturday, August 25th, 2007 at the Holiday Inn Toronto Airport East, Centennial Ballroom, located at 600 Dixon Road.
